From a number of studies of Oxford Colleges made by Mall Galleries member artist N.P. James ROI. Several subjects of Oxford College Portals and quadrangles, some of which were commissioned, or were acquired by collectors with associations to the University, some to mark their children’s graduation. Studies include Balliol, Jesus, Brasenose, Corpus Christi, All Souls, Hertford and Magdalen Colleges. Paintings range from 7”x5” to 48”x40”, made in oil and framed in a ribbed moulding with gold slip.
